Well Almost everybody may have heard this name but when we talk about cricket, the whole of Kashmir know him entirely by this Gentleman’s game of cricket, We are talking about The superstar of J&k cricket Zaib Rasheed (Zahoor Xolo). On 20th Oct 1991, The Star was born in the middle-class family of Sheeri which lies in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

Xolo has to face hardships during his childhood as his parents were telling him to focus on studies instead of playing cricket, But the passion and dedication for his goal to become a successful cricketer of the valley couldn’t stop him to leave his aim.

Xolo’s cricket journey so far has been wonderful given his achievements among the local ranks as well as the different teams he has represented outside.

Xolo says the passion for cricket was in graned in me since childhood. When I was 10 years old, I don’t look back since then. I have scored enough runs be it Club cricket, League cricket, or any other Tournament. Hitting the ball to all the corners of the park with superb timing has been the hallmark of the allrounder’s carrier so far.

Xolo who represents his team BCC Reds Baramulla aspires to be one of the best cricketing talents in Baramulla. The Broad-Shouldered allrounder has already proved his spirit by representing the leading Affiliated Club of Kashmir which is BCC Reds Baramulla. I have played all the Big Leagues of Kashmir Valley like (KDCL) Khyber Downtown Champions League,(WPL) Walur Premier league, (BPL) Burzhama Premier league, and other famous cricket Tournaments of J&K. In the last edition of the JKCA tournament Xolo smashed the fastest hundred of 38 balls for his team BCC. It needs super-human powers to achieve this feat.

The Supremely talented allrounder exuded confidence and sounded optimistic about Shining at Higher Levels.” My ultimate aim is to represent J&K at the National level, and I am confident of doing it”. Xolo said in an exclusive chat with Danish Afaqi while expressing his great admiration to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali in the coming future.

Our basic aim is to highlight talent and talented players.
